The retooled Kaxe is an updated version of the original disc. Being too close to the Kaxe Z we decided to take the best from both discs and present a Kaxe which is exactly as we want it to be. The king of the middle section on the flight chart. It easy to shape for mid-power shots, and it will solve your problems on both short and longer distances.

Suitable for:

Control shots, forehand shots, 1-disc rounds.

Great but not for me

I loved the flight and feel for backhand but on forehand the bead was a bit intrusive and I mainly use this slot on forehand, if your mainly backhand or don't mind bagging a FH and BH disc in this slot than I'd highly recommend giving this disc a chance! Love the K1 soft plastic!

Retooled K1 Kaxe

The new Kaxe instantly earned a spot in my bag and quickly became one of my favorite discs. I got familiar with it by playing a one-disc round and was surprised at how versitile it can be. Even short approach shots were easy with the retooled Kaxe, let alone very shapeable 300 footers. Such a fun disc.

Glide and hyzer flipper

This Disc feels so good first off in the K-1 plastic. As a six speed, it just fits so nicely in between having a seven speed slot and a five speed. Starting to make you feel it’s all you really need for that. Fairway shot as it’s just dead straight and goes so far having a reliable fade left at the end. Enough to power down and have it flip up but not too much out of mid range level where it turns over completely. It does not. It just can hold some power and stay a bit torque resistant, but definitely requires some HYZER as it stands up slightly.
