Disc golf is not only a sport but also a guardian for social wellbeing. Every disc golfer who has participated in the weekly event at the local course, joined a club, teed off in a tournament or had a few hours of grinding at the driving range, knows that you are never alone.
Kastaplast is not only a brand but a community. Created by people who share the same passion, and who brick by brick build the house where everyone is embraced. Something we are very proud of, because we know that life isn’t always a warm breeze at the beach.
And that is why we have chosen to cooperate with the Swedish organisation Spes. It is an independent non-profit association that focus on mental awareness, suicide prevention and support to those who have lost a loved one to suicide.
We know that you can not tell what is happening on the inside, by looking at the outside. But we do know that good spirit and friendly words always have a good impact. It is also known that exercise and nature have a soothing effect on a troubled mind, a round of disc golf with a cheerful group of people, a twist of competition (even if you only compete against yourself) may possibly add a purpose to life and the will to show up again next week.
To honour their work and as a reminder that there is always hope for a better tomorrow, 100 first run Krut stamped with the Spes logo will be available in our shop. All profit from these discs will be donated to Spes.
